Day 2: Darrel made an appointment for a
| Hood River |
Once Darrel was done we walked the same path again only this time getting poke and spinning poke stops. The stops were all over the place. Most of the buildings are historical, build in the early 1900s. We ate brunch at a cute little cafe and then drove back to the campground. This time we stopped along the way and checked out the views of Mt. Hood. Along the tour route there are miles and miles of pear orchards. They said the pears are picked in September. We could only see leaves, no buds or flowers. We stopped along the way at a 2006 debris flow from Mt. Hood that took out the road and bridge we drove over (it had since been repaired).

You can read the signs in the pictures for more info on the flow.
Once we were back at the campground we took care of laundry and showers and actually barbecued the chicken drumsticks. Yum.
Day 3
Today is take care of business day. I'm up at the lodge using their wi-fi to update my blog notes, upload pictures and to make some calls. Ate lunch at the Dragonfly Cafe here, used the jacuzzi and enjoyed the sunshine.
