To Lemolo Lake, Oregon

Driving up into the high mountains this morning. The forecast says snow tomorrow. Luckily, we are scheduled to stay at Lemolo Lake (KOA) for three days. I don't think we would do well driving in snow. We did see snow on the way to the campground and the peaks have snow. So beautiful.

Day 2: It didn't snow here, but it snowed up higher.
Lomolo Lake Trail
Instead it rained all day but the trees kept it to a light rain as it filtered down. We hiked to the dam today and part way around the lake. We found a poke stop on an over grown road that isn't used anymore. It was the Lemolo Lake stop, weird. We  mostly stayed in after our hike and we watched Game of Thrones.  Before watching Season 8 we decided to go back to Season 1 and watch through the seasons up to 8. We've been watching it almost every evening as we traveled.

Day 3:  This morning we rented a boat, got two half day fishing licenses and made our first attempt at fishing. It was 46ยบ and we dressed accordingly. The sun came out and I even took off my jacket. But of course I had on about three layers of clothes. We had fun just motoring around on the lake. We learned a few things about what not to do. We lost our minnow house (a net to catch minnows) and a good piece of salami. (Part of our lunch) and we didn't catch any fish. We did see a big fish jump out of the water. That was probably after he ate our salami. Last we took another hike to the dam and the poke stop.  This time we walked the
burnt forest
other side of the lake. The trail went through a lot of burned forest. We haven't seen any animals but we saw deer scat so we know they're around

Day 4 This is checkout day so we packed up and got ready to go. Once we were ready we got on our bikes for one last long ride. We rode around the whole lake.
