Santee Recreational Preserve, San Diego County April 27 Site 261

Just for one night we drove down to Santee preserve as we couldn't get the the 27th at O'Neill Park. We thought it would give us one more chance to visit with Jason and family before we start heading North.
The Preserve has 7 lakes with lake 6 and 7 used by the campers only, to fish or boat in. They had about 7 different playgrounds with included a spraypark. We walked the length of it and back to our site 261 which was at the far end from the gate. It is a long park and looks like a great place for a family camp out, especially with young children.
